Stand:

1.5 mm galvanized steel, painted black or green.

Adjustable. Installation is easy, especially for level surfaces or 26o roofs.

Without reflector.

Expected lifetime:

15 to 20 years, if installed under correct pressure.

Operating pressure:

There is a breather in the top of the tank. This breather (vent) must be OPEN TO AIR. These systems boil easily, and the steam has to escape easily.
The pressure inside the house is gravitational, from the water in the tank only.

Tube seals: silicon rings.

Welded by a high efficiency rolling welding machine.

Heating elements:

Standard 1.25 inch boss South African geyser elements: 1kW, 1.5kW or 2kW.
All these elements can be controlled by a thermostat or a SR609 programmable control panel.

 SR 609 Electronic control panel:

This is a fully programmable switch. It features:

  • The current water temperature.

  • The time.

  • It can be set to heat the water in the tank electrically in three cycles of time and temperatures.

  • Default: if the water is cooler than 54oC between 4 and 5 am, the water will be heated to 60oC. The same happens between 5 and 10pm again.

  • A manual button raises the temperature up to the programmed temperature (usually 60oC), whenever needed.

  • There are two types available: one with battery backup and one without battery backup.
